The Congdon Estate - Glensheen Mansion

Built between 1905 and 1908, Glensheen, the historic Congdon estate, gives a wonderful look at the life of a wealthy family a century ago. Set on the shores of Lake Superior, the 7.6 acre estate offers tours of the mansion and carriage house. Visitors can also tour the formal gardens which have retained much of their original design. This mansion museum is on the list of National Register of Historic Places.
