Posted on May 22nd 2008 in Inn On Lake Superior

Inn Green LogoThe University of Minnesota recently featured the Inn on Lake Superior in a short video showing some of the many environmentally friendly ways the Inn has gone green.  Installing sink aerators to cut down on water consumption is not only good for Lake Superior, but it also makes economical sense.  The Inn has also focused on eco-friendly lawn care and maintenance by using worm juice to fertilize, collecting rain water and using vegetation that doesn’t require a lot of water.  Styrofoam is out and washable plates and silverware are in at the Inn.  The Green Team at the Inn is excited to show you all of the ways that they have been able to do their part in the green movement and invite you to come stay with them soon.
