She will head back out to Lake Superior to escort the Madeline and the Niagara into the Twin Ports later this afternoon. Visit the WebCam at the Inn on Lake Superior to watch the ships come into the canal.

The house will be rockin’ on Saturday, July 26 as Indigenous takes the stage at Bayfront Festival Park at 7:30 p.m. as part of FinnFest 2008. Tickets can be bought at the Electric Fetus or at the gate for $18.00. The Brewhouse will be selling Finn’s Triumph, 1939 Summer Wheat Beer during the concert. For the 6th year in a row, The Inn on Lake Superior has been privileged to be the host hotel to COPA Migration! M6- ‘M’ for Migration and 6 for the 6th year- is one of the summer events The Inn on Lake Superior Staff looks forward to most. Kim Chick, The Inn on Lake Superior’s Director of Operations, states “Cirrus and COPA members are my favorite customers”
Migration starts tomorrow night, July 10th with the kick off party dubbed ‘The COPA Cabana’. This first night social takes place under tents in the Inn on Lake Superior backyard. As you can see, Cirrus landed a plane their today to get ready for tomorrow’s event. The Cirrus plane will be on display all weekend.

Gates open at noon on July 4th for “Duluth Fourth Fest” at Bayfront Park. Treat your whole family to activities including live music, crafts and other events throughout the afternoon and evening.

Looking forward to a great summer of events and Player’s Club Promotions with the Fond-Du-Luth Casino in Downtown Duluth. Musical Group .38 Special will be featured at this year’s block party! (Sept. 4th) Remember: This is a FREE concert!! So please - take advantage! Famous Daves will be providing food and it is near certain that Budweiser will be providing the beer, again, this year. Last year’s Nitty Gritty Block Party was awesome - we wouldn’t provide anything less. There is talk of booking an opening band, but this is still in the works. Duluth, Minnesota Weather is notoriously fickle and incredibly beautiful. Here’s the latest weather-Duluth, MN style.











They are only here for a few days! Come to the harbor and tour the Pride of Baltimore II, the Madeline, and the Niagara tall ships. Tours of all 3 are only $10. They came through the canal and under the bridge in a wave of glory with cannons firing and a brigade of boats in attendance.
