    Bellisio

Posted on February 12th 2009 in Bellisios

opolo-poster.pdfOn Sunday, March 1, 2009, at 6:30 p.m., please join us here at Bellisio’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar for “A Night at Opolo Vineyards”.  Bellisio’s Executive Chef Michael Morelli, and his team, will be preparing exquisite cuisine to match with our expertly chosen wines from the Opolo Vineyards. Rick Quinn, owner of Opolo Vineyards, and Lukas Peters, Sales Representative at Domace Vino, will be on hand to introduce us to some of their favorite wines from the Opolo Vineyards.

Rick Quinn was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota, graduated from Morgan Park High School and went on to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth.  He joined the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department in 1976. Seeing California as a land of opportunity, he moved there in 1979, and went into real estate. As his business grew, Rick became very impressed and interested in the quality of California wines. This appreciation turned into a hobby gone wild and in 1995 Rick began the acquisition of over 300 acres of prime grape vineyards on the central coast of California. In addition to the production of estate bottled Opolo Wines, Rick also sells grapes to leading wineries in Napa Valley and Paso Robles.

This promises to be a night of great food and great wine. Our seating is limited so please call and make your reservation soon.  The cost of the complete dinner, wine, and gratuity will be $100.00 per person plus tax.  Please call Angela Dormanen or LeeAnn Smith at 727-4921 to reserve your ticket.
