Posted on March 12th 2010 in Vista Fleet

2010 marks a big change in what the Vista Fleet will be offering it’s guest, and it is all for the best. The Vista Fleet will be changing it’s entire line of services with big improvements in guest services and products.

Our spring season will start May 21st and will consist of 3 sightseeing cruises a day, Wednesday thru Sunday. We will have several Special Event cruises throughout spring including 2 Mother’s day Cruises, a Memorial Weekend Brunch, and a 2 Father’s Day Cruise featuring BBQ from Famous Dave’s.

Most public cruises this year will be on the pride of the Vista Fleet, the Vista Star. It is the 3 deck boat that has been the host of the lunch and dining cruises in the past years. This year’s schedule will start with a 10:30 sightseeing cruise with updated narration and enhanced viewing on the 7 video displays that are being placed on the Vista Star. The next cruise of the day will be the New Pizza Lunch Cruise which will feature 3 types of pizza from Tiki Tina’s Pizzeria and Salad. Sightseeing will follow with a departure time of 3pm and than we will be offering a new type of cruise… the Happy Hour Cruise which will depart at 5pm and take a one hour lake cruise and feature great, relaxing music and drink specials, a great way to wind down after a hard day at work or to kick off a night of entertainment. Finally we will set sail with our dinner cruise, Sunday thru Wednesday, which will be a Fun Filled Family Fun Cruise featuring Tiki Tina Pizza, Salad and a build your own Sundae along with fun activities for the kids (of all ages) and maybe a suprise visit from a favorite character from the local waterpark!! Thursday, Friday and Saturday we are introducing our NEW Sunset Dinner Cruise, departing at 7:30, this 2 and a half hour cruise will take you down the Superior Front Channel, out the Superior Entry and spend the last hour and a half out on the Majestic Lake Superior, watching the Sunset over Minnesota’s most Beautiful Skyline and seeing the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge light up and show us the way back, passing under the area’s most famous landmark. Included in this cruise is our new dinner selection. This year we will be providing table service (no more buffet) and a selection of Prime Rib, Champagne Chicken, Northern Minnesota Baked Walleye or Vegetarian Lasagna… and for the Hearty Eater a combination plate that will feature Prime Rib and Champagen Chicken. All food will be prepared by Award Winning Savories Catering and served hot to you at your table.

So, don’t wait, check out our new cruises and features at the Vista Fleet! We look forward to Sailing with you this summer!!
