    Featured Wines of the Week

Come by Lake Aire on Friday Sept. 5th between 4pm-7pm for a free sample of Mark West Pinot Noir and Big House Red

    Mark West - Pinot Noir - 750 mL - $8.99

Mark West Winery specializes in Pinot Noir. Sourced from the eastern coastal growing area on the island of Corsica, their winemakers selected vineyards that provide grapes with profound fruit aromatics and concentrated flavors. After a gentle crushing, the grapes were fermented in small tanks. Pressed lightly, the wine was aged 8-12 months in French oak before bottling. Red and black cherry flavors abound with a lot of spice from oak aging. Rich in texture with a lingering finish and versatile enough to complement just about any cuisine.

Big House Red - California Red Wine -750 mL - $8.99

Each variety selected for this blend brings its individual characters and distinct personality: spiciness from the Syrah, cherry and raspberries from the Sangiovese and Barbera, blueberries from the Tannat, cassis from the Grenache and chocolate from Mourvedre. A wonderful mix of the best each variety has to offer. The co-fermentation of different varieties has been used whenever possible based on the grapes that are ripening at the same time as their pH. Cold soak a couple of days, 1-2 delestage per day. Partially barrel aged.

    Featured Spirit of the Week

    Mount Gay Rum - Sugar Cane Rum - 750 mL - $17.49

Widely recognized as the oldest rum in the world Mount Gay Rum has been hand-crafted for more that 300 years at the same location in Barbados, birthplace of rum. Elaborated only from the finest sugar canes and pure coral-filtered spring water, their rums are distilled both from column stills and copper pot stills. They are then aged separately in Kentucky oak barrels and finally blended in a unique and harmonious way to please the palate of connosseurs the world over. Enjoy over ice or with your favorite mixer.
